International workshop "Discrete breathers in crystals"

From 21 to 25 September 2015 in IMSP RAS international workshop "Discrete breathers in crystals" took place.

The topics are related to the main advances and open problems in the study of discrete breathers (DB) in crystals including

  1. Theory
  2. Molecular dynamics simulations
  3. The first-principles modeling
  4. Experimental studies
  5. The role of DB in the formation of the physical and mechanical properties of crystals
  6. DB in various physical systems
  7. Nonlinear excitations in crystals different from DB
